“Smurf” as he has been nicknamed ,came to us as a stray in a very emaciated state. He was taken to the local veterinary surgeon for a check due to his condition and he had to spend 4 days at the vets on emergency treatment. One of his problems is that he needs an operation on his eye lid which we are unable to carry out until he is stronger . We are currently looking for a foster home to look after Smurf until he is well enough to have this operation.
